  3. Techniques you can use! • Visual • Graphical • Written • Oral • Digital • Be Creative!

  4. Design process presentation Think about your design process. How will you present it? • Identify needs and opportunity • Idea generation • Researching • Experimenting and testing • Management • Realisation of design ideas using tools, materials and techniques • Evaluation

  5. Create a FOLIO!!!

  6. What should my folio look like? • Don’t be afraid to use colours BUT not to many! • Create a theme of colours and font styles • The colours you choose could be the same as what you use for your bedroom • Use font style and size • Arial 12p.t • Times New Roman 12p.t • Use clear, bold headings! • Use point form instead of long essays!! • Use A4 size paper • Use Normal Page Margin 2.54mm each side, top and bottom.

  7. How to present my idea generation! Idea 1 Idea 2 Idea 3 Idea 4 • Each idea is on a new page • An idea can be improvements of the previous idea!

  8. It’s okay if your final idea changes through the process! Just don’t change it a week before the due date.

  9. Time to present my solution! The Dream Bedroom Produce a Concept Board • What to include? • Colour swatches • Floor plan • Isometric drawings • Materials used • Images of original room • Quotes • Furnishings • Measurements • The concept board should represent your final solution. So include as much information about the room. Remember you are the interior designer and you want to sell this design to your target market (teenagers). Make it fun!
