RantaiMakanan • Rantaimakananadalahperpindahanenergimakanandarisumberdayatumbuhanmelaluiseriorganismeataumelaluijenjangmakanan (tumbuhan-herbivora-cannivora-omnivora). padasetiaptahappemindahanenergi, 80%-90% energipotensialhilangsebagaipanas, karenalangkah-langkahdalamrantaimakananterbatas 4-5 langkahsaja. Denganperkataan lain, semakinpendekrantaimakanansemakin pula energiygtersedia.

  3. Ada 2 tipedasarrantaimakanan • 1. Rantaimakananrerumputan(grazing foot chain). Misalnya : tumbuhan – herbifora – carnivora – omnivora. • 2. Rantaimakanansisa(detritus foot chain). Bahanmatimikroorganisme (detritifora= organismepemakansisa) predator danbangkai. • Para ilmuanekologimengenal 3 macamrantaipokokyaiturantaipemangsa, rantaiparasit, danrantaisaprofit.
