  3. WHAT IS TASTE • Taste is one of the 5 sense organs,each one have one function and the taste function is to detect the differents flavours of the food. • There are different types of flavour:sweet,bitter,sour and salty.

HOW IT WORKS • In our tongues we have tine ,pink bumps called taste buds they differencate the taste of the foods and they detect special chemical in the food.The taste buds produce nerve impulses and the gustatory nerves send this impulses to the brain,then the brain interprets that information.

  5. DIFFERENT FLAVOURS: • Sweetnes: Sweetnes detects the sugar in the the food and other subtances. • Sourness:Sourness detects the acidity in the food. • Saltiness: Saltiness detects the level of salt in each food.
