  1. Current Event in Asia By: Elizabeth Deal Luke Forbes Randy Stanley

  2. Our Current event is Asia is a mid life crisis. People are killing people left and right. This is a group called ISIS.

  3. Who is ISIS? Isis is an Islamic group who basically pretend they are practicing their religion, but in reality they are terrorists. Acronym: I-Islamic S-States of I-Iraq S- Syria

  4. What Does ISIS do and what do they want? ISIS is known for killing thousands of people. One you may be familiar with is the beheading of American journalist Steven Sotloff. All ISIS does is make people have fear and a horrible life because of that fear. ISIS wants power. They have taken control over Mosul and Tikrit so far.

  5. What is the U.S. doing to stop ISIS? President Obama said earlier on, “ We don’t have any strategies.” As of September 9, 2014, Obama was open to airstrikes. As of September 10, 2014, Obama has come up with a plan.

  6. Obama’s Plan Against ISIS Obama has said that on the eve of 9/11 that he is going to lay his plan out for destroying ISIS. President Obama’s plan is to request money to train forces in Syria, authorize more airstrikes, and continue counterterrorism. What is counterterrorism? A strategy to prevent or counter terrorism. But….do we really know if this plan is going to fall through???

  7. The Bad Thing to Worry About!!!! We are not trying to scare anyone when we say this, but this is something to think about. People believe that one hundred or more Americans are part of ISIS. Have you heard about the threat to Twitter? Well, this means that there are threats in America? Hopefully Obama’s plan will work and we can stop ISIS. No one should live in this situation. Do you agree????
