  1. Welcome to my Digital World… By Ashley Parbolus

  2. It’s not like me to just give someone contact information about me. I’m the type that sits by myself until I feel someone's worthy of communication. Not meaning I’m higher than others, just meaning if we are on the same level of communication, and we share common interest. Therefore, isn’t like me to share my personal information or full name even. My Digital information is just as short, but I’m more willing to attempt communication if I'm not already aware of how you are as a person. My digital world is a small one, from the outside.

  3. I’m guilty of heavy phone and computer use. How ever I don’t I use it wrong. While I’m on Facebook I see a lot of people posting stuff that negatively judges another person or other groups. I avoid things such as that. When I’m on my phone it’s not to gossip about others. I’m on the phone either to talk to my boyfriend or friends about what I’ve been up to, and what I’m planning. Its different when someone’s always on the phone or computer and its all for things like gossip or slandering. I just find the internet is to connect knowledge that is built in the minds of unique people who are scattered all over the world. The way of finding them is tricky and hard do to all these people who use their digital world negatively. A phone is the way to keep in touch once you find them.

  4. I’m less of a computer person and more of a game person. When I play video games online, I usually meet a lot of cool people, which is easy because we have something in common. That doesn’t mean everyone gets along or that you don’t run into some creeps. There is a lot of arguing and a lot of, especially as being a girl, sexual harassment. The way you respond determines which pass you choose for you digital image. Respond negatively, go along with it, or block communication, avoid player or mute them. I tend to mute them or just ignore them to take offense just satisfies them and promotes their behavior.

  5. Everyone’s digital world varies depending on personality and personal life. How you are, even if you’re trying to disguise it, is reflected in the digital you. It’s up to you whether you put yourself all out there or hide what’s personal from the strangers that are mixtures of friendly civilians, super heroes, and cloaked villains. I play on the safe side, anything that’s not necessary in making knew friends or getting to know someone such as your email or address, I don’t share; Nor do I share my full name. If they ask for more or seem to eager for more information that’s a red flag to me. Be alert, and always remember some people don’t have good intentions.

  6. In all reality I believe I have a healthy digital life and a very safe digital world, because I make it one. It’s your own decisions.
