Drawing must be from observation ( life, no photos ). • Paper must manipulated at least once, it could be folded, crumbled, bent, ripped, drawn on, burnt, sculpted, etc. • Paper must be white. • Background must also be drawn. • Other objects may be introduced. • Drawing will be 9 by 12 inches, pencil on paper. • Drawing must contain a full set of values. • Drawing must depict an interesting composition. • 3 sketches of three different compositions or ideas are due prior to starting the finished piece.
