  4. Get Involved • Lead by example. • Show your presence • Show your commitment to the school and your child’s learning. • Maintain discipline and Islamic etiquette at all times • Practice effective parenting.

  5. Parent Volunteers • Mandatory volunteer hours for all parents – minimum of 4 days by each couple (8 Single) • Scheduled dates will be communicated via email before next week. • One week notice for cancellation • Please respond to the mail. Yes or No • Review task list prior to arrival, (Very Imp.) • Remain in touch with School Volunteer committee

  6. Basic Duties • Arrive min 45 mins before school starts • Tables and Chairs have to be set up as per sketches provided. • Control traffic during drop-off/pick-up • Monitor Road Crossing by Parents /Children (No Jaywalking please) • Announce Breaks (One Volunteer) • At least one volunteer seated near each class • Maintain Discipline, especially during breaks • Clean up for Zuhr • Community Center (separate jama’a to be conducted by one volunteer for girls)
