  2. ICE BREAKERS? Love them or loathe them but ... Why do we use them?

  3. Shared Experience • Work in pairs for 5mins • Discuss your experiences with ice breakers, as learners – what was good or bad .. Why? • Be ready to feedback to whole group

  4. Apply to your own work • Spend 5 minutes reflecting on what you have learned. • Write up a brief summary (two lines maximum) of an ice breaker which would meet the needs of your learners. • Stick your ice breaker on the learning tree
