  4. How Do We Administer Research? Through National Programs • A National Program is a set of research projects directed toward common goals to solve agricultural problems of high national priority. • --National Programs are outcome driven, e.g., “Alternatives for methyl bromide.”

  7. 2nd NP 308 Customer/Stakeholder Workshop & Performance Assessment: 28 February- 2 March 2006 • Emphasis is on Customer/Stakeholders! Broad spectrum of customer/stakeholders and ARS participants. We wish that we could have invited even more of you. • First ~1/3 of workshop will focus on assessment and the remaining ~2/3 of the workshop will focus on the future.
