Early wrap-up of R7.1 • Based on the progress of R7.1 activity, we project an early completion of the planned testing activity and plan to get an early start on subsequent EDS preparatory activities. • The last day to complete any outstanding R7.1 activity is Weds 2/13/08 • If you had planned on completing R7.1 testing after the above-mentioned date and are not available to reschedule it earlier, please email crrinfo@ercot.com to let us know by today Further information: • A day is allocated in R7.2 to catch-up on any R7.1 activity (mentioned in CRR handbook) • R7.2 is starting as scheduled on 2/18/08 • Part of the “subsequent EDS preparatory activities” includes taking the system down to reconfigure the application server to its appropriate database No market call, continue with R7.1 activities

General issues encountered so far • 404 or 500 error page while saving/navigating in auction portfolios • Confusion regarding drag-drop of source sinks • Confusion regarding steps described in scripts • Only one new defect raised regarding typed-in date format Low severity and priority Look for messages from CRR Operator We’ll be using them to publish frequently encountered issues going forward

Coming up - R7.2: fully structured mock monthly allocation/auction Objective • ERCOT conducts mock monthly allocation (NOIEs submit ERCOT-provided nominations) • ERCOT conducts mock monthly auction (CRR AHs submit ERCOT-provided bids and offers) • CRR AHs bilaterally trade CRRs as orchestrated by ERCOT Exit Criteria • Resolved all participant-reported issues regarding any of the following: • Upload of the bid/offer portfolios provided by ERCOT (in either XML or CSV) • Download of auction results • Initiation and/or acceptance (as orchestrated by ERCOT) of bilateral trades • If eligible NOIE – upload of nomination information provided by ERCOT • If eligible NOIE – download of allocation results • If CP – entering of credit limit assigned to market provided by ERCOT
