  2. IMAU Achievements • Held 4 Executive Committee meetings to discuss IMAU issues. 2. Supported IMAU branches to organize activities to promote the Islamic spirit of brotherhood among Muslim health professionals. For example: IMAU Kampala branch organized the Annual Ramadhan CPD and Iftar dinner and held elections where Mr Moustapha Mukasa, a pharmacist, and FIMA student Camp graduate was elected as the new IMAU- Kampala Branch Chairman 2

  3. IMAU Achievements • Conducted Continuous Professional Development sessions for IMAU members supported by some Pharmaceutical companies. • Supported IMAU-Students branch to organize Annual IMAU Students Branch Camp.

  4. Achievements • Provided general medical services to patients and clients at Saidina Abubakar Islamic Hospital. • Bought a new ultrasonography machine with contributions from IMAU members and local donors. • Continued fundraising appeals to raise about US $ 30,000 required for a Basic X-ray machine although no positive response has been received so far.

  5. Conclusion IMAU needs to continue mobilizing human, financial and technical resources to be able to implement its strategic plans. FIMA support in human resource training and Resource mobilization for Saidina Abubakar Islamic Hospital is very much appreciated and it should continue.
