2. The taiga • The taiga is a biome that also known as the boreal forest. It is a biome that is characterized as a cold yet very warm at some times. This biome can be found in Alaska, Canada, and all through out of Russia.

3. Animals in the taiga.interaction • Some animals you can find are bobcats, eagles, bears, foxes, etc. • The animals in the taiga interact with the environment by fallowing the food chain, also the animals in the taiga are very useful to the environment in many ways.

4. Plants in the taiga • Many plants can be found in the cold biome known as the taiga. • Some are known as the Balsam Fir, Black Spruce, Douglas-fir, Eastern Red Cedar, Jack Pine, and Paper Birch. • These plants help keep omnivores food, they also are great producers. Also the can be great for resources

5. Location • The taiga is located in mostly northern countries and Alaska. Some countries include Canada, Russia and some other European countries.

6. Threats • The taiga is damaged everyday by things that affect most of the worlds ecosystem. One main problem is acid rain which is caused by pollution.

7. Threats 2 • The second threat caused to the taiga is destruction of the environment… crops and trees are cleared out, the soil gets washed away, damaged, and then takes about five or more years to recover….

9. My biome • I live in Georgia and the biome is the Deciduous Forest. The forest average annual temperature is 50° F. The average rainfall is 30 to 60 inches a year. The deciduous forest has four distinct seasons, spring, summer, autumn, and winter. In the autumn the leaves change color. During the winter months the trees lose their leaves.

10. Creation…… • The animal I have created or imagined is called a linex • This is an animal that is a omnivore. Its one of the fastest animals on earth. It lives in the taiga and is kept warm by its coat.
