  3. Advantages for trainees • Free and easy to participate. • Participation in large multi center audits/research projects…. Good for CV! ( audits: mandatory for ARCP) • Management experience • Publications.. Good for CV! • You can participate in the same project despite moving hospitals!!!! • If you don’t do it, there are others who will!

  4. Advantages for Consultants • Encourage research/ audit in your department and trust. • Data collected by trainees in your hospital can be used for clinical governance in your trust. • Authorship and Publication • Promote your own projects across the deanery to be tested on a larger scale through the existing network.
