Tau group. First deadline ~ 15 may + 5000 ev. signal events with M H =200 and 500 GeV ( gg  bb A/H  bb tt, tan( b )>10 ) QCD P T [50,80]  + 50.000 ev. QCD P T [80,120]  + 30.000 ev. QCD P T [120,170]  + 20.000 ev. Tot ev.= 100.000 BKG and 10000 SIG .

Tau group • First deadline ~ 15 may • + 5000 ev. signal events with MH=200 and 500 GeV (ggbb A/Hbbtt, tan(b)>10) • QCD PT [50,80]  + 50.000 ev. • QCD PT [80,120]  + 30.000 ev. • QCDPT [120,170]  + 20.000 ev. Tot ev.= 100.000 BKG and 10000 SIG. • Previous samples are all at High luminosity with pile-up. The “+” sign means that we need this statistic in addition • CC_bar events PT [120,170]  5000 ev. (with and without pile-up)

  2. B group • To be produced after main problems solution in the pixel+silicon material description(minimal request in parenthesis)(Note: put KINE card in Pythia/cmsim conf files!) • uu 100000 (30000) (Pt: 50Gev, 200Gev, 100Gev if Tk ok) • cc 30000 (500) (Pt: 50, 100, 200 Gev) • bb 30000 (500) (Pt: 50, 100, 200 Gev) • Note:2 jets back to back for all the previous samples • WH(120Gev) -> (mv) (bb) (events: ?) • ZH(200Gev) -> (m m) (bb) (events: ?) • Top top -> (any) (Wb) -> (any) ((mv)b) (events: ?) • Wjj -> (mv) jj (events:?) • bbH -> bb(m m) (events:?) • WW -> (mv mv) (events:?) • Gluino -> sbottom bottom (events:?) • B -> mm (events:?) , B->pp (events:?) • Pile-up events

Andrei Starodumov Production for B physics • The aim is to be prepared to PTDR 2003 • This request is related to Signal only • Repeat all study already done in CMS with fullsimulation in ORCA • PYTHIA: latest version with muchmore realistic simulation of different bb production mechanisms (hence, kinematics) • HLT for B physics channels (never been done) • Develop/optimize flavor tagging algorithms
