About the expert panel • Formed to provide technical advice on planning and implementation of sediment diversion projects • Nominations solicited in August 2013 • 60+ experts nominated • Selections made by The Water Institute • 2-3 additional members will be named shortly • Expertise from the natural and social sciences as well as engineering • Mississippi River and Louisiana relevance • Will meet three times per year over next three years
