  2. From The Desk of Mrs. Magnusson A Note From Our President Tracy McTiernan As the leaves begin to turn beautiful colors and the air becomes crisp and cool, our thoughts begin to turn to the holidays. We will have our annual Halloween party this Sunday! Anne Divers and her committee will be transforming the gym for our ghosts and goblins. The party is open to all grades this year so please join us. November 9, 10 and 11 we will have our Christmas in Candy Land Christmas fair. The Christmas fair elves have been very busy planning this years fair and we hope it will be the most successful ever! I encourage you to volunteer at the fair, even if it is only for an hour or two. We also need volunteers to help with decorating the gym the week before. If you are interested please let the fair committee members know. Another upcoming event is Dine Out at the Beer Garden on November 14. I hope you all come out and support this event. We had our first Zumba night this past month and I would like to thank Rich Kerney for setting up the sound system. We also had our second movie night in the teachers’ parking lot. The evening was a little cool but we were all kept warm with a little hot apple cider. I would like to thank Rich Kerney, Brett Mohlenhoff and Dan Divers for setting up our ”theater”.
