Intro to Federal Contracting Workshops • Acquisition Process Overview, Requirements Develop, Budgeting Process, Key Players • Types of Contracts (Cost vs. FFP), Sealed Bid, Negotiated Procurement, Contract Admin • FAR & DFARs Social Economic Policies, (SDBs, 8As Veteran owned, etc.) T4C & T4D, Buy American Act, Cost Accounting Standards • Effective Resumes (Career vs. Job) USA Hiring Process, Jobs.gov • Mock Job Interview

Resume Bank Objectives • Student Resume Bank for students who successfully completed Internship Program • Network and Promote Students to HR Managers & Recruiters at leadership events & World Congress. • Administered by Mid Florida Internship Work Study Scholarship Recipient • Monitor USAJOBS.gov

Mid Florida Student Work Study Stipend • UCF Business Student (Junior or Sophomore preferred) • Join NCMA as a Student Member ($25/year) • Minimum GPA – 3.0 • Letter of Interest (250-500 words) & Resume • Duties • Coordinate Student Workshops & Social Activities • Facilitate Presentations to Industry/CPAG/NDIA/INCOSE on merits of the Mid Florida NCMA Internship Program • Assist with Registration & attend Mid Florida Workshops free • Total Stipend $594. • Volunteer for World Congress • Get Involved!
