  7. “The Glory of Christ & the Blessing of the Nations” “For the earth will be filled with the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” Habakkuk 2:14

  8. To call Christians from all Nations to: • Unite in repentance and prayer, and • Work together as God’s servants for the blessing and healing of the Nations “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land” 2 Chronicles 7:14

  9. 10 – 1 – 90 • A Global Day of Prayer (Moving from large events to more smaller locations, including as many people as possible) • 10 Days of day-and-night prayer preceding and leading up to the Global Day of Prayer • 90 Days of Blessing and continuing prayer, following the Global Day of Prayer • Acts 1 & 2

  10. United by a Prayer for the World, Christians from different cultures and denominations gather in many different venues each year to cry out to God for the healing and blessing of our nations. • Our aim is : • to increase the number of gatherings on Pentecost Sunday in smaller, medium & large settings, such as prayer rooms, local churches, family homes, parks, businesses etc. • to see events in every nation on the face of the earth if possible • To see many more people participating in the GDOP

  11. The single thingthat we request every observance to do during the event / gathering, no matter how small, is to pray the prayer called, “A Prayer For The World” The Prayer for the World is available on the website in various languages www.globaldayofprayer.com This is your opportunity to unify in prayer with Christians from across the globe.

  12. The 10 Days preceding the Global Day of Prayer creates an excellent opportunity to unite in prayer with millions around the globe based on Acts 1 & 2. The 10 Days of day and night prayer help us to gradually build a lifestyle of prayer in our communities, as well as to focus our prayers much wider than our personal and national needs as we pray with millions during this time. The 10 Day Prayer Guide is available on the website in various languages www.globaldayofprayer.com

  13. The 90 Days of Blessing follows the Global Day of Prayer as an opportunity for Christians to not only continue in persistent prayer, but to actually become the answers to their prayers. This is an excellent opportunity to challenge the youth and children to go to the neglected places to pray and serve. Their nature is to be there where they can make the difference, so let’s join them in becoming a transformation force in our communities! This is where Prayer becomes a lifestyle A Prayer Guide for the 90 Days is available on the website www.globaldayofprayer.com

  14. Please join the world for the Global Day of Prayer on 8 June 2014 and may we see the fulfillment of Hab. 2:14: “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”
