  3. Session Description • In this session, you will be guided through a preview of the IPM Solution. IPM will modernize FSA’s oversight and monitoring activities for Title IV financial aid programs participants.

  6. Key Terms • Partner – Primary entities such as Schools, Lenders, Guaranty Agencies, and Third-party Servicers that participate in federal student financial aid programs • Affiliated Partner – Secondary entities, such as Servicers, Auditors, Accrediting Agencies, State Authorizing Agencies, and others who assist in the administration of the Title IV programs on behalf of a participating partner

Key Terms • Application Administrator (AA) – Completes the Eligibility Application (determined through the Pre-Eligibility process) • Destination Partner Administrator (DPA) – Has the ability to create, update, and deactivate users and create DPAs for their affiliated partners • Portal User – An authorized, registered user that has a valid user name and password

Key Terms • Record – Includes all books, papers, maps, photographs, machine readable materials, or other documentary materials, regardless of physical form or characteristics, made or received by an agency of the United States Government (Federal Records Act) • Integrated Partner Identifier (IPI) – A unique identifier for each Partner in the system.

  9. What is Integrated Partner Management (IPM)? • A robust, centralized, web-based platform that will: • integrate and streamline core business processes and support processes • modernize transactions between partners and Program Compliance (PC)

IPM Solution • In general, information stored and available in IPM: • Data collected and maintained by Program Compliance • Reviewed/approved partner information submitted in an IPM data field • Participation information and statuses (composite score, waivers, program reviews, etc.) • Documents uploaded to or generated in IPM (ECAR, PPA, etc.) • Pending and completed activities • Important dates (approval, execution, renewal, expiration, etc.)
