  5. Membership Report Currently we are at 67 Members. Last year at our first meeting, we had 47. 26 of our current membership are Staff. Last year, approx. 15 memberships were Staff at the first meeting. 41 of our current membership are Parent/Family members We have seen an increase in membership interest which is great. Hopefully this continues because the more people we have involved the stronger we will become.

  6. Treasurer’s Report Review and approve budget for 2013-2014 school year

  7. Spirit Chair: Ms. Day • Orders due Thursday, Sept 12 for return by Homecoming (hopefully). • Late orders accepted until Sept 20. Delivery in Mid October. **By request, Riverside PTA Volunteer Shirts available to order tonight.** Riverside PTA Volunteer Shirt orders due by Friday, Sept 13th Back will say either “Teacher” or “Volunteer”

  8. Homecoming Week • Spirit Week is Sept 23-27 • PTA will be selling Spirit Beads again this year - $1 • Riverside PTA is participating in the parade this year. • We have 2 banners. If you are interested in helping carry a banner, please contact Dean Shaw. Last year, we met at the parking lot north of Calhoun Christian School (old Middle School) by 5:15 for line-up. Parade started at 5:45 sharp. The parade is on Friday September 27th .
