AquaCulture • Coincides with the 2015 UN International Decade for Action entitled "Water for Life” • Celebration along the Toronto waterfront • Cultural • Art installations and video projections on water, barge concerts of contemporary and classical music, underwater photography, water sculptures, water gardens, and cinema on the water. • Educational • Forums, lectures, competitions for water conservation, and symposiums based on water as a life source • Conservation • Collaborate with institutions directly involved in water ecology and conservation Inspiration

Higher Ground • Signature multi-disciplinary festival featuring a variety of programming which includes new cultural hybrids, commissions, and quality marquee events showcasing the rich cultures from Canada, the Americas and the Caribbean • Ticketed events, presented in established venues • Opportunity to showcase the best professionalartists • Collaboration with cultural partners, both nationally and internationally

Promote your Artists! • Opportunity to highlight talented artists from your countries and include them in TO2015’s three platforms – ELECTRIC Toronto!, AquaCulture, and Higher Ground • TO2015 will cover artistic fees, local accommodation and ground transportation • Participating countries will be responsible for airfare and cartage costs related to the performance and production

  20. Pan Am Torch Relay • Begins in Mexico • Torch will visit major Canadian cities in all provinces over 70 days • 41 torch days in Ontario - Each will showcase one of the 41 Pan Am countries and territories • More than 3,000 torchbearers • Cauldron lighting on • July 10, 2015
