  2. ADVERTISEMENTS There are a number of different way people find a job. Friends or relatives might tell them that their company needs for particular position, or goverment or private agencies who specialize in ‘job finding’ could help. Some people write directly to companies to ask if there are vacancies even if a post has not been advertised. Most people, however, find a job through advertisements in newspaper or magazines through the situations vacant columns. Nowadays some companies state it in the online pages.

  3. READ THE ADVERTISEMENT CAREFULLY, ANSWER THE QUESTIONS! A growing PMA coal mining company is looking for a “secretary” with the following qualifications; • Female, age between 22-23 years • At least 3 years working experiences • Fluency in both written and spoken English preferably with University Degree in English If you meet the above qualifications, please send your apllications letter to: THE PERSONNEL MANAGER PO. BOX 4587 EAST JAKARTA 12025 Not later than two weeks after this ad. All applications will be treated confidentially.
