Literature Review 2.5 Evaluation and Testing in ESP According to Alderson (1979), ‘Evaluation’ was defined as the discovery of the value of something for some goals. 2.6 The Reason for the Underdevelopment of Evaluation in ESP Swan (1986) also suggested eight possible reasons for the underdevelopment of evaluation in ESP.
