  1. How to Turn in Written Homework on CourseWare

  2. Open/print out the written (or short answer) homework from the weekly page on the course home page. • Locate the problems in the online text and work them on scratch paper. • Transfer your work to the Written Homework answer sheet. • Save the answer sheet as a .pdf document. There are many ways to do this – Google “how to make a pdf file” for some ideas.

  3. Log on to casa.uh.edu. Click on “Assignments.” • Select the appropriate assignment.

  4. Select the homework you wish to upload. In this case, there’s only one listed. Just click on Upload.

  5. This page is asking for the number of files you need to upload for this assignment. If you are using a smartphone app to upload, you may have one file for each page, so the number of files will vary. I’ll upload one file, so I’ll leave the menu alone and click “Next >>”.

  6. Browse through the file structure on your computer until you find your .pdf file. Then click on “Upload All Files”. If you have multiple files, you’ll have a line for each file, and you’ll need to browse for each file until you have them all listed.

  7. One you locate the file on your computer, select insert. Repeat if necessary. Then click on “Upload All Files.”

  8. This is a verification screen. Do you have the right assignment selected on casa.uh.edu and the right file selected on your computer? If so, click on “Submit”.

  9. One more chance to call off the upload….if you want to upload, click OK.

  10. The prompt in the yellow highlighting tells you the upload was successful. Now you can view your upload. Click on “Assignment Home”.

  11. me Now the status shows that the assignment has been submitted, and you have options to View and Upload New. If you want to see your submission, click on View. Please make sure that your upload is right-side up and is legible. If not, correct the problem and re-upload. If you want to upload a new assignment, click on Upload New. Note that if you upload a new assignment, you must upload the whole assignment. If you made a change on just one page of your work, you need to re-upload the entire assignment!!
