  21. Building the Domestic Church • The Supreme Council has designated 10 outstanding Programs and Activities that carry the Domestic Church designation for this fraternal year. • Four Domestic Church Programs are required for achieving the Columbian Award in the 2016-2017 year.

  22. Columbian Award Changes for 2016-2017 Columbian Award Qualifications: • Submit - Service Program Personal Report (#365) • Submit – Annual Survey of Fraternal Activity (#1728) • Annually conduct and report at least four (4) programs in each of the six categories of the Surge with Service Program AND at least (4) of those programs need to be designated as “Domestic Church” Programs.

  25. Journey to the Inn A re-enactment of the story of Christ’s birth • Review Program with Pastor • Choose a date during Advent • Order booklets (#9898) • Appoint a Committee with your chaplain • Promote the Celebration • Recruit Members and Parishioners

Consecration to the Holy Family • A Prayer of Consecration of Families under the protection of the Holy Family • Discuss with your Pastor and request his permission to share the Consecration to the Holy Family prayer cards (#10371) • Determine the best way to share how the Holy Family serves as an ideal model for families • Select a Sunday for the Consecration Prayer during Masses
