  3. Kaj je MultiPoint ? • Operacijski sistem baziran na Windows Server • Uporablja Remote Desktop services tehnologijo • Sočasno gostovanje neodvisnih sej na enem strežniku • Omogoča priklop 10 (20) odjemalcev • Nezahteven za implementacijo in vzdrževanje

ZERO in THIN client • THIN client • Ima operacijski sistem • Glavni namen THIN client-a je povezovanje na druge sisteme • Njegova zmogljivost je odvisna od zmogljivosti strežnika • Praktično brez vzdrževanja • ZERO client • Brez operacijskega sistema • Ni podvržen zlonamernim programom • Še majn vzdrževanja • Aktivirati ga moramo na strežniku

Primeri uporabe (kje?, kdaj?) • Pomembna je standardizacija!!! • Potrebno je vedeti, katere programe bomo uporabljali • Prilagodljivost sistema (template) • Vsi uporabniki iste skupine imajo enaka sredstva (HW & SW) • Tipičen primer uporabe (šolska računalniška učilnica) • Administrator (Predavatelj) lahko izvaja „Live“ nadzor • Lahko deli svoje namizje z ostalimi • Omejuje dostope do določenih vsebin posamezniku ali skupini • Ostali primeri uporabe • Računovodski servis • Call center • Help desk

  6. WMS 2012 • Verzija MultiPoint-a temelji na Windows Server 2012 platformi • Razlike in novosti • Dodan je MultiPoint Dashboard • Ustvarjanje postaj iz obstoječe VM • „Disk protection“ • Podpora za Windows 8 desktop experience • Nadzor nad clienti s pomočjo MultiPoint Server Connector-ja

Opozorila in priporočila • Generiranje VD-template samo z Windows 7 ali Windows 8 Enterprise (.iso, .WIM na OS DVD, .VHD) • Brez VDI vsi uporabniki uporabljajo isti sistem • V primeru uporabe VDI uporabniki uporabljajo isti template • Pazite na število odjemalcem in BP resource-ov • Omejevanje uporabnikovih pravic
