  2. Introduction • We are beginning a new assignment today • This assignment will be performed over the next month during allotted time in the classroom and the computer lab • You should be working on this during your free time!!!! • What is the assignment?

  3. Cumulative Research Assignment • You will use the knowledge gained from this course and the knowledge gained from research to present a topic • All topics will be from Chemical Warfare • This can either be an individual effort or performed in a group of 2 • Groups will be approved by ME!

  4. Topics to Choose From • Chlorine Gas • Anthrax (NOT THE BAND) • Mustard Gas • Lewisite • Cyanide • VX • Tabun • Sarin • Agent Orange • Napalm B

  5. Information You Need to Find • Chemical Formula • Stable States (Solid, Liquid, Gas) • History of Use • Effects to the body (brief) • Type of Chemical (Organic, Inorganic, Aromatic, Carcinogenic, Volatile) • MSDS information • Safety Precautions

  6. Remainder of Period • We will be in the computer lab • Research will begin • Decide on Research Paper or Presentation • Decide on Group or Individual • Gain Approval of Topic from Mr. Wrigley

  7. Important Information • All Papers must be written in size 12 font double spaced • Minimum of 2500 words for research paper • All Presentations must be 8 – 10 minutes long • Use of technology is expected for presentations • Remember to Reference everything that is not your thoughts
