  2. Summary • Imagine a futuristic version of our world the year 2041. In this story, Two girls, Trinja and Deb go to the mall. They pass this store and it has machines lined up on the wall. With a sign that says FREE. They decide to go in and they try free "Smoodies.”

  3. Focus Question • Can you Eat a lot and be skinny the next minute?

  4. Exposition • Initial characters: Deb, Trijna, Trevor, and the woman with the green turban • Initial Setting: At the mall and the mall parking lot. • Initial Conflict: They eat ice cream and they do not want to turn fat.

  5. Rising action A. Deb and Trijna find smoodie machines. B. They eat a bunch of smoodies C. They feel bloated. D. They find the slimmer and try it out.

  6. Climax/turning point • The climax/turning point is when They just eat and eat the smoodies. Then they do not stop and they fear That they are gaining weight.

  7. Falling action • Soon around the world gets smoodies machines and slimmer machines.

  8. Science fiction elements • This Short story fits in with science fiction because they have no idea who sells the Slimmer's or the Smoodies. The Slimmer’s also leave a blue dot on their wrists. But no one cared.
