  2. The Girl and her friends • There was a girl. Her name was Maria. She loved animals very much. • Maria had a dream. She wanted to talk to animals and they understood each other. Her parents knew about the daughter’s dream. • New year was coming! They gave a gift. It was a magic amulet. It came true. Maria was glad to get it. • She often took it tothe forest. And what a wonder! She began to understand animals and birds. They became friends and even the angriest animals were with them. • Once she got lost in the forest but the animals helped her to find the house. Mum and Dad were glad to see the daughter. • So all animals and birds were the best guests in their house. • Everybody was happy! • The end.
