  2. Multimedia • Multi = many, multiple • Media = An intervening substance through which something is transmitted or carried on

Multimedia • Definition • Multimedia refers to technologies and applications that integrate different types of media, such as text, sound, video, computer graphic, animation • Benefits: • It makes things interesting and entertaining to the users, i.e. Enclocypedia Britannica, Encarta, VR (Virtual Reality)
