Winter Intersession - Course Overview • 4 week program designed for high-achieving students • Field trips and consulting project research before Fall exams : December 11 and 13 (research paper due December 31) • 3 week academic and cultural program in France and Belgium: January 7 – 25 (travel arranged individually) • Study with Audencia School of Management in Nantes, France with additional travel to Paris, France and Brussels, Belgium • Course taught entirely in English • Includes lectures by guest faculty and field trips to European businesses and government institutions • Free time during evenings and weekends to experience European culture and night life

An Experience Not to be Missed! • Academic Credit • During the 3-week course, Mihaylo students develop personal insights into business practices and culture in France and the European Union - insights that just aren’t possible when travelling for leisure • Hands-On Business Experience • In addition to meeting with several global businesses and European Union commissioners, students experience first-hand the complexities of international business through consulting projects helping local businesses expand their operations in the U.S. • Fun! • But even with the academic framework, it isn’t all work and no play! Mihaylo students will enjoy getting to know Audencia students, exploring the shops and historical sites in Nantes, Paris, and Brussels, and immersing themselves in the European lifestyle. It will be a trip to remember, without a doubt!

  9. Academic Credit • Three units • Apply consulting project research while abroad via competitive analysis paper and verbal presentation to French businesses • Satisfy elective credits in many business concentrations

  10. Estimated Cost • Housing and inter-European transportation is arranged by program organizers and paid from student deposits • Airfare and meals are arranged by each student • The total cost will depend on each students’ choice of air travel and food/entertainment during the trip

Must arrive in Nantes by the evening of January 7, 2013 Full payment due.
