  3. The Next Stage of E-Filing • Clay County is moving to totally “paperless” court system • All areas of the Civil courts moving to e-filing from August 9 • Criminal Courts to follow in a few months

  4. How Do I Get Started? • What Equipment Do I Need? • A personal computer with an Internet connection • Software to produce documents in PDF format • An email account • What Will it Cost Me? • Nothing (apart from normal court filing fees)

  38. Credit Card Payments • Remember there is the service charge added to credit card transactions. • Also if you send a lot of transactions through at one time, your credit card company may “flag” your account – contact them and explain the situation.
