  4. Family connections login • Go to http://connection.naviance.com/parkhhs • username: student id number • Password: Student ID NUMBER • GOAL: Login, complete super college match, add at least one college of interest to list

New 5th hour credit option • Are you looking to free up room in your schedule to take more classes? • 2014-2015 school year students have the option to earn additional credit first and second term. • Virtual options (next slide) • PE early bird option- foundations of fitness or weights • 6:30-7:15, Monday-Friday • Each term=1/2 credit • NO TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED FOR EARLY BIRD PE

  8. Required online blended credit • All 2015 seniors are required to complete 1 online class!

  9. online credit- onsite or remote • This credit can be earned: • Summer school • 5th block credit option • Regular schedule

  10. Science changes • New science courses offered: • AP Physics 1 and AP Physics 2 (physics is not a pre-requisite) • Accelerated Chem (pre-requisite for apchem) • Forensic Science (new) • Materials Science and Engineering (new) • PLTW Principles of Biomedical Sciences (new)

  11. Northland CAPS Program • Engineering and advanced manufacturing • Technology solutions • Medicine and healthcare • Global business and entrepreneurship • Can sign up for 1 or 2 semesters (2 credits or 4 credits)

  12. Enrollment forms • Circle 8 courses (all graduation requirements must be accounted for) • Optional: Select 5th hour credit • Write in alternate courses (one core and one elective) • Teacher signatures where needed • Parent signature required • Turn in by given deadline to counseling office

  13. Turn in forms • to the counseling office asap • No later than feb. 5th
