  2. Part A • 1. You should be doing 60 minutes of moderate activity each day. • 2. A teenager should be using the computer for a maximum of 2 hours. • 3.The benefits of being active are the following: • It’s a great way to have fun with friends and make new ones. • It’s an opportunity for new skills and challenges. • It can boost your confidence • It can improve your fitness • It can make your bones and muscles stronger • It can improve your posture • It can help you maintain a healthy weight • It improves the health of your heart • It can help you relax • It reduces stress • It can help you maintain healthy growth and development.

  3. 4. Vigorous and Moderate activity. Vigorous activities like brisk, walking, bike riding with friends, skateboarding and dancing. Vigorous activities such as football, netball, soccer, running, swimming laps or training for sport. 5. The recommendations for a healthy diet would be having an eating pattern that contains a healthy variety of foods. These would include vegetables such as legumes i.e. peas, beans and lentils, fruit and cereals, and is low in fat, salt and sugar. This will help you to be at your healthy best.

  4. 6. A healthy diet will make sure you have energy, strength and good health to try new active challenges. If you combine healthy eating and physical activity, it will also help you maintain a healthy weight.

  6. Anorexia Nervosa One main type of Eating Disorders! • When people don’t eat on purpose or throw up their food after eating as they think they are fat • One symptom of Anorexia Nervosa is that you have a fear of becoming fat

  7. Bulimia Nervosa One main type of Eating Disorders! • People eat and then vomit which is very bad for you as you can get very dehydrated • If you don’t seek help soon, you can be putting your life at risk! • Ipeacac Syrup is a medicine that induces vomiting and regular use can be deadly.
