  2. ITU-R Working Party 5D Update ITU-R WP5D • Revisions of IMT Specifications (M.1457 Rev 11 and M.2012 Rev 1) • At its 14th meeting in October 2012, draft Revision 11 of Rec. ITU-R M.1457 was completed and will be submitted to SG 5 in November 2012. • ITU-R WP 5D will send LS to EOs announcing that it intends to submit the next draft Revision of Recommendation ITU‑R M.1457 (i.e., Revision 12) to SG 5 (also encompassing the transposition references) at the end of year 2014. • ITU-R WP 5D will provide further guidance to the External Organizations from a subsequent meeting with regard to the development and timelines of future draft Revisions of Rec. ITU-R M.1457, as well as correspondence providing the detailed expected timeline for draft Revision 12.

  3. ITU-R WP 5D Update – M.1457 • Received all Updates and Modifications • In July, Rec. M.1457-11 was extended to the October 2012 meeting. • TIA sent the complete package WP 5D. • Some sections were not included in the published document. Japan provided updates and assisted throughout the week. • External Organizations reviewed submitted documents. Worked during week and over weekend with the BR ensuring information correct. • Still a concern with workload resulting from the simultaneous revisions in the future of ITU-R M.1457 and ITU-R M.2012. • The next revision of ITU-R M.1457-11 will occur in mid-2014 or end-2014 • The approval will coincide with the SG5 meeting
