Goals for Physical Science • Students will understand the scientific concepts related to the study of physics and chemistry. • Students will develop critical thinking and problem solving skills. • Students will continue to prepare for life after high school by practicing time management and organizational techniques.

Assessment and Grading • Class work • Includes classroom activities and labs • Homework • Written or review homework on most nights • Homework is accepted up to one day late with penalty • Quizzes • Always announced in advance • Study guides available on website • Tests • One test per most units of study • Study guides provided to all students in advance • Nine weeks grade is based on an accumulation of points

  7. Keys to Success • Students are responsible for keeping an organized binder with all class resources. • Students should use resources provided on our class website for study and review. • Students are expected to ask questions and obtain help when needed. Do this as soon as you have questions!
