  3. Expectations: Materials: • Wood scraps • Wood Glue • Balloon • Scissors • Tape Measurer • Card Board • Nails • Hinge • Plastic Cup • Box Cutter • Stamp • Foam Letters • Duct Tape • PVC pipe • Hammer • Spray Paint • $0.00 • $2.00 • $0.50 • $1.00 • $0.00 • $0.00 • $0.00 • $2.50 • $1.00 • $0.00 • $2.50 • $0.50 • $0.00 • $0.00 • $0.00 • Our group started off with the goal of making the project simple. • We are expected to Design and build a "stamper". • Project should display : • Projectile motion • Conservation of energy • Conservation of momentum Total Cost: $10.00

  4. PROJECT DESCRIPTION Tramp-O-Stamp starts when a marble is placed in a PVC pipe. After traveling through the PVC pipe, the ball pops out onto a small version of a trampoline. The ball then bounces up and hits a toy car that is at rest on a ramp. The toy travels down the ramp and collides into a piece of wood with the stamp of lazy dog on it!

  5. PROJECTILE MOTION The ball bouncing off the trampoline represents projectile motion CONSERVATION OF MOMENTUM The Car accelerating down ramp to hit the board represents COM Initial velocity of car-.5 in/s² Mass car-10 grams Mass block- 25 grams Final velocity block-.62 in/s² 10(.5)-25(.62)= velocity car 10 CONSERVATION OF ENERGY COE in our device is represented when the ball initially starts to when it rolling down the pipe. • Energy in Device

  6. PROJECT:Problems and Conclusions *Our initial project didn’t include Conservation of Momentum : We had to start over . *After bouncing on the mini-trampoline we couldn’t get the ball to boune into cup.: We deleted the cup idea and let ball bounce into the car *The last problem was getting the board with the stamp on it to stay up: We applied a hinge to solve this problem In conclusion, The Lazy Dog: Tramp-O-Stamp was a very successful project. We met all the requirements that we were supposed to. Our group worked very well together and we applied all of our EF151 knowledge in building this project. Let’s Check Out How it Works!
