  4. Adding Mixed Numbers with Like Denominators Steps: (Line them up vertically) • Add the numerators. • Keep the denominators the same. 3. Add the whole numbers. 4. Simplify or make any improper fractions mixed numbers.

  14. Dividing with Fractions Steps: (KCF) • Keep the first fraction the same. • Change the division sign to a multiplication sign. • Flip the numerator and denominator of the last fraction. (Reciprocal) ***The numerator becomes the denominator and the denominator is now the numerator) 4. Multiply the numerators. 5. Multiply the denominators. 6. Simplify or change any improper fractions to mixed numbers.

Dividing Mixed Numbers Steps: (KCF) • Change any mixed numbers to improper fractions. • Keep the first fraction. • Change the division sign to a multiplication sign. • Flip the second fraction. • Multiply the numerators and denominators. • Simplify or change any mixed numbers to improper fractions.
