  3. Transitional Kindergartenat a CUSD school (not Pacific Rim)Students turning 5 between September 2 and December 2, 2014 (birthdate between 9/2/09 and 12/2/09) Kindergarten Students Must be 5 Years Old by September 1, 2014 (Birth date no later than 9/1/09)

  6. 2014-2015 forms will be available on or around April 1, 2014 Each form is dated and outdated forms can not be accepted. Don’t forget your proof of residency! Print the “Detailed Bill” Scroll Down In back to school pouches

  8. When you turn in the blue card staff will hand you a packet that is not a part of the on-line forms. It will contain: • Instructional pages including how to access the on line forms. • A Tan Kindergarten Questionnaire that was created by the kindergarten teachers and will be given to them to review. • The White Placement Card gives you an opportunity to select your time preference between the AM/PM or EB/LO sessions. Check one from each box. • Top Ten Things To Practice Before Kindergarten.

  9. Intra-district TransfersWithin CUSD boundaries Pacific Rim Elementary is not accepting transfers unless there is a currently enrolled sibling in grades K-4, who will continue at Pacific Rim for 2014-2015. An Intra-district transfer form must be completed at the CUSD office before March 31, 2014. The on-line transfer forms are not available for Pacific Rim.

  10. Miscellaneous • Kindergarten Enrollment will be Thursday, May 1, from 2:00-4:00. We strongly recommend you enroll on Thursday to ensure placement in Pacific Rim. • Carlsbad Unified School District requires that a legal guardian with ID return the packets and all information must be included and complete to be considered enrolled. • The name on the child’s Birth Certificate will be used as the legal name. Please use the child's legal name on all documents. • If your child has an IEP or other educational accommodations please provide the document at registration. • Please provide court orders if you check the court order box. • Kids Care will be notified of your students placement as soon as it is known.
