  2. Where is Wyndham? Located midway between the State’s two largest urban centres, Melbourne and Geelong, Wyndham is easily accessible by road, sea, air and rail. It is 30 kilometres south west of the Melbourne Central Business District and approximately 35 kilometres north east of Geelong. It is located adjacent to the Princes Freeway and has ready access to metropolitan Melbourne via the Westgate Freeway and Western Ring Road.

City Overview • The City of Wyndham is experiencing 7.1 per cent growth per annum • In 2011, 68 babies were born in Wyndham each week • If forecasts become reality - Wyndham is expected to become home to 278,000 residents by 2026 • Eventually, Wyndham will be the largest local government area, with a population of 430,000 – twice the size of Geelong
