Department of Defense Voluntary Education Partnership Memorandum of Understanding* Between DoD Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness & Education Institutions (DOD MOU) *Herein after referred to as the DoD Vol Ed Partnership MOU 1 9/17/2012 This presentation walks you through the Voluntary Education programs and the MOU – its purpose, who is eligible, and how to submit your application. It also includes explanatory information in easy-to-follow bullets, along with flowcharts, screen shots, references, and additional resources. It is intended to be a tool, combined with the SOP, enabling institutions and military Ed Centers to complete the MOU. Over 350 military Ed Centers around the world present Service members with extensive menu of options, details about specific programs, help members design courses of study, accomplish administrative tasks to ensure Service members receive maximum exposure to and benefits from available programs.
