  1. Extensions to G/RSVP-TE for Point to Multipoint TE LSPs<draft-ietf-mpls-rsvp-te-p2mp-01.txt> R.Aggarwal, D.Papadimitriou, and S.Yasukawa (Editors) and contributors (L.Berger, I.Bryskin, D.Cheng, J.Drake, A.Farrel, M.Jork, H.Kojima, K.Kompella, A.Kullberg, J-L Leroux, A.Malis, K.Sugisono, G.Swallow, M.Uga, J.-P.Vasseur, and L.Wei)

  2. Achievements since DC • <draft-raggarwa-…> published as WG I-D v00.txt • draft-ietf-mpls-rsvp-te-p2mp-01.txt • terminology adapted to requirement doc • S = Source (ingress) LSR, L = Leaf (egress) LSR, B = Branch LSR, X = Transit LSR • Example: S2L sub-LSP, S2L sub-Tree • structure document has been re-organized • web page <http://www.labn.net/~dimitri>

  3. Open Issues (1) 1) STYLE usage: • SE vs FF style usage • conditions for resource sharing => new section needed 2) P2MP SENDER_TEMPLATE object and FILTER_SPEC object encoding specifics   => Section 20.2 – reached consensus 3) Review text for re-merge/cross-over conditions + re-merging or re-pair (case when data plane is not blocking) => Section 19

  4. Open Issues (2) 4) Re-optimization – previous status • single/subset of P2P sub-LSP within a sub-group • single/subset of sub-groups note: requires consensus whether re-optimization may be performed on P2P sub-LSP basis or/and on sub-tree basis ? => Section 15.2 – need to re-evaluate cost vs benefit 5) Pruning (deletion) and sub-ERO compression re-organisation after pruning => section 7.2 and 7.2.1 6) Stitching mechanism => cf. CCAMP WG

  5. Next Steps • revision.2 (i.e. draft-ietf-mpls-rsvp-te-p2mp-02.txt) will be submitted after meeting • hopefully addressing all remaining open issues • any feedback from the mailing list ?
