Lander Status. The Lander will use a last slot (7 weeks) to perform final refurbishments, while the Orbiter will perform its own. Both Lander sub-systems and instruments will benefit from this activity.

  1. Lander Status The Lander will use a last slot (7 weeks) to perform final refurbishments, while the Orbiter will perform its own. Both Lander sub-systems and instruments will benefit from this activity. This will be performed through a program of activity, endorsed by the Lander Steering Committee yesterday, that fits with the overall Mission schedule. The final Lander configuration will match the initially targetted one, towards a full scope successful investigation. JPB, RSWT, 26-06-02

  2. Sub-system refurbishments CDMS replace the redundant boards by their spare 2. ADS replace by its spare 3. LG replace the present FM by its FS, fully functional Battery pack replace the rechargeable batteries by spare JPB, RSWT, 26-06-02

  3. Battery exchange issue initial added electronics Primaries : 930 Wh Secondaries : 130 Wh JPB, RSWT, 26-06-02

  4. Instrument refurbishments COSAC full replacement of FM by FS 2. APXS replacement of the deployment mechanism, possibly of the alpha sensor head 3. CIVA replacement of harness, and CIVA-M/I 4. CONSERT replace Ebox and antenna PTOLEMY strengthen the piping SESAME repair harness JPB, RSWT, 26-06-02
