  1. UGC NET December 2019 Result Statistics

  2. UGC NET exam was conducted between 2nd - 6th December’ 2019 for the post of Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professor both or Assistant Professor only. • The conducting body NTA announced the UGC NET Results on 31st December’ 2019.

  3. Major UGC NET Result Statistics - • The exam was conducted for 81 Subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only. • Number of candidates registered for NET December 2019 = 1034872 • Number of candidates appeared who appeared for the exam = 793813

  4. The exam was conducted between 2nd - 6th December’ 2019 for five days in 10 shifts at 700 centers across 219 cities in the country and 19 Regional Coordinators, 200 City Coordinators and 600 Observers were positioned for UGC NET December 2019. • NTA released the answer key on 23rd December’ 2019 which was set open for challenging, and the final answer key was released on 31st December’ 2019 along with the UGC NET Result. • Live CCTV Surveillance through more than 1450 CCTVs was carried out and more than 3100 Jammers in each shift were installed to prevent cheating using the mobile network and other electronic devices. • Only 6% of those candidates who appeared in both the papers and obtained minimum qualifying marks in aggregate of both the papers were declared NET qualified.

  5. The total no. of candidates who qualified for UGC NET December 2019 is 65,239 which is just 6.3% of the candidates who registered for the exam and 8.2% of the candidates who appeared for it. • Out of this total of 65,239 candidates, 5,092 people qualified for JRF & are eligible for Assistant Professor too, while 60,147 candidates qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only.
