WAYS TO BE ADMITTED • Top 10% Admit • Top 10% of graduating class within Texas • All credentials must be received by January 15, 2013 • Academic Admit • Top 25% of graduating class • 1300*on SAT or 30* on ACT • Review Admit • If not in top 10% of graduating class • Include all extracurricular activities, Texas A&M visits, Essay C • Be early • Other programs: Blinn TEAM and Gateway Program

FAFSA • Free Application for Federal Student Aid • Find eligible grants, loans, scholarships, and work studies • Recommended submission date for Fall 2013: March 1, 2013 • Online application recommended: www.fafsa.ed.gov • Paper form available at public libraries • Texas A&M school code: 003632

SCHOLARSHIPS • Opportunity Award • Freshman using ApplyTexas • Awards range from $100 to $12,500 • Regents Scholarship Program • First generation students • $5000 per year for up to four years • FAFSA on file by March 1, 2013 • Honors and Corps of Cadets scholarships also available • Important dates: • Open: August 1, 2012 • Close: December 1, 2012

ARC OPPORTUNITIES • WHOOPIN WEEKEND March 1-3 , 2013 • 175 high school juniors and seniors visit Texas A&M for 3 days and 2 nights • Participants experience • Residence life, an athletic sporting event, a mixer, a college class, discussion groups • Receive information on admissions, financial aid, and housing • Registration: January 11th from 8am-5pm at arc.tamu.edu

ARCOPPORTUNITIES • Seniors Experiencing Aggie Life (SEAL) • 100 high school seniors visit for 3 days and 2 nights • Participants experience: residence life, a football game, midnight yell practice, discussion groups, a college class • Receive information on admissions, financial aid, and housing • Check arc.tamu.edu for registration dates
