  2. Cole Matthews • Cole Matthews is a boy from Minneapolis that has a lot of anger in him. He is abused by his father and his mother doesn’t do anything about it cause she is always to drunk.

  3. Coles Anger Issues • Cole has been through a lot in his life like when he robbed a store and a kid named Peter told on him. So Cole beat Peter up to where he now has slurs in his words and he stumbles a lot when he walks.

  4. Circle Justice When Cole got to Circle Justice he thought it was the dumbest thing ever, he didn’t know why he was there and why it was his fault for beating Peter he thought the kid deserved it. Circle Justice was a place for people full of anger to help your issues and try to get rid of the past and stop lying and blaming others for your mistakes and to just talk about what has happened and what should happen in the future.

  5. On The Island • When Cole first got to the island he was full of anger and didn’t know what to do he didn’t think any of the stuff was his fault so he was angry about that as well.

  6. The Theme • The theme of the book is that the author is trying to send a message that if you are really angry you don’t have to blame everyone else. Take responsibility on your own actions.

  7. Settings • This book takes place in Minneapolis and an island in Alaska.
