  1. Textured Container • CONTAINER-A receptacle, such as a carton, can, or jar, in which material is held or carried • Create a container with an odd number ( 3, 5, 7, 9 ) sides. No straight edged triangles. Sides may be curved or flat. • Container must have at least 6 types of different textures. • Roughly half the texture must be added on, not pressed into the clay. This texture will be created with three dimensional forms to create a pattern. • Be extremely EXPERIMENTAL with your textures. • Container does not have to be functional. • An area of the container must be at least 6inches in one direction. Container cannot exceed 10 inches in any direction. • You will required to make a paper template model ( this will replace the sketch). You will use this model to trace your slabs. • No glazing of the exterior. • Interior should be glazed with clear or black glaze.
