  4. The Comedy of Errors • Starts out in the city of Syracuse. • Egeon, a merchant, is looking for his two sons. • Sons are Antipholus of Ephesus and Antipholus of Syracuse. • Both Antipholus' are in the town of Syracuse and are mistaken for each other. • Wacky Hijinks ensue.

Henry V • Early performances of this play had bare stages. • Uses most actors as background visuals. • Has monologues and speeches through the play. • Inspired from a real incident with the Earl of Cambridge and two others who plotted to assassinate Henry at Southampton. • Ends in a victorious and glamorous ending.

  6. Impact of Shakespeare’s Comedies • Shakespeare's Comedies have undoubtedly formed and molded the entire genre of comedy in the Elizabethan era. Although, here in the Modern era, we think of Shakespeare's comedies as silly and dated. • Historians do agree that Shakespeare has had a definite impact in literature

  7. Impact of Shakespeare’s Histories • Shakespeare's Histories have shown us fictional evidence of famous and important people in the Elizabethan era. Shakespeare would even make some of them look even better than they were in real life. While Shakespeare's Histories are on the boring side, they still show us of how important it is to make literary work of our VIPs of our life.
