  1. The Science Goals of the 7-Element Array • Positive detection of CMB polarisation in the l-space region of 1500 • Characterisation of the CMB polarisation power spectrum over the l-space range 800-3000 • Detect (or more likely, set an upper limit to) the B-field

Details • Assuming: 7 antennas, 60 cm dia, 70% efficient, close-packed. • 16 GHz Bandwidth; 100 K Tsys. • Achieve 1s (10 mK) in 1.6 hrs, single pointing. • 8 * 8 degree mosaic (good l-space resolution) has 400 pointings – 2 months observing. • (plus 4 months to demonstrate that the system is working) • (plus another 4 months for bad weather, etc)
