  1. Hooded Jackets for Winter Perhaps you love the winter or you want to keep the winter chill out. For whatever reason, you need to have a good winter jacket that keeps you warm and is stylish too. If you're in the market for a good winter jacket, you'll be pleasantly surprised to see the vast range of jackets and sweaters you can choose from. There are jackets, sweaters, hoodies and much more that can keep you warm and are affordable too. Factors to choose hooded jackets: What are your needs for a hooded jacket? You choose a hooded jacket to keep the cold out of your neck, ears and shoulders. So, when you buy one, check for both versatility andfunctionality. Buying one hooded jacket can negate the need for layered woolens in winter. That's the level of insulation you can get from it. Choose a lightweight and breathable fabric: Whatever the kind of jacket you might choose, ensure that it keeps you warm. Its fabric should be lightweight and breathable so that you're comfortable, even if moisture attempts to enter it. Try a water-resistant or waterproof jacket: Jackets for winter should either be water-resistant or waterproof. The former are good for preventing moisture from entering the fabric for far longer than water-resistant jackets. In extreme cold, you need this level of protection. But waterproof jackets work well when you're exposed to snow or rain for protracted periods. Check the wool content: Read the labels very carefully to figure out how much of the fabric of your jacket is made up of wool. Buying a jacket made of polyester would be no good in a snow storm, so be very careful of what you buy. Does your jacket have pockets? If not, put it back on the shelf as you need to feel warm on your hands when it's bitterly cold outside. Be practical, not fashionable: How do you expect to brave a typical December with a coat or sweater that can only keep you moderately warm? You may like its style but it needs to be functional too. Look for something that's both stylish and extremely warm. After all, you can't play with your health, can you?
